The Keto Craze

A ketogenic meal laid out on a dining table

So recently I decided that I needed to make a change in my life and eat a little better. I also wanted to lose a few pounds in the process. I had to face the facts, sitting behind my computer all day was making me ..let’s just say, a little fluffier. Now the Keto diet looked fun and easy, cut out carbs and sugars. When I started I had all the vigor and good intentions of a Soldier storming a beach. I was going to dominate the diet. The first three weeks were good. I lost a few pounds and felt great. Then I had glimpses of what everyone around me was eating and I fell off the wagon. Let’s just say, I’m still looking for my wagon. While the diet was helping me lose weight, I felt like I was always hungry and that made me “hangry” and unapproachable. I still want to shed some pounds and will eventually jump back on the keto wagon. For now I am going to live my life and love who I am.
